Even greater things come out of a heated workshop - we will be forever indebted to Dan for allowing us to crash his place!
The lower shell of the hull is set aside, the strongback with frames is ready to receive the deck strips.

The book said to leave the lower hull on while strip-planking the deck ... Hopefully the two halves will meet someday. Luckily Dan has every clamp ever devised - the deck shape at bow and stern is getting tricky.

Space is not infinite, so Dan came up with a boat suspender. (Lars has done his work for today!) two colors and some sort of pattern - we'll see how it comes out

and the front portion of both halves ... At the stern, we chose more white pine. Good progress now (flat surfaces)

the upper half is covered completely - ok, it's our first attempt at a pattern... Lars has cut out the cockpit area - looks more and more like it
